Free email QR code generator

Let people email you with a scan

Enter your email address above — and, if you like, a ready-made subject and message — and download a free email QR code. When someone scans it, their email app opens with everything filled in, ready to send. It’s perfect for posters, flyers, packaging and shop windows where you want enquiries by email rather than a phone call. It’s generated in your browser, so your details never touch a server.

To make one:

  1. 1

    Enter your email address

The address you want messages sent to.

  2. 2

Add a subject and message (optional)

Pre-fill enquiries like “Quote request” so replies are easy to spot and sort.

  3. 3

    Scan-test

Confirm it opens your email app with the right address and subject.

  4. 4

    Download free

PNG for screens or vector SVG/PDF for print — no watermark.

How it works

The code contains a standard mailto: link, so any phone opens it in the person’s default email app — Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook and so on. No app to install and no account on our side.

When an email QR code makes sense

Reach for an email code when you want a written, threaded enquiry rather than a live conversation — a paper trail with a subject line beats a missed call. If you’d rather chat in real time, a WhatsApp code or SMS code fits better; if you want everything (phone, email, website) saved in one tap, use a vCard code instead.

Use it for

  • Posters and flyers — “Email us for a quote”
  • Product packaging and warranty cards for support requests
  • Event signage collecting written questions or RSVPs
  • Recruitment ads pointing applicants at the right inbox
  • Office reception and trade-counter “contact us” signs

Printing it? Export a vector file and check the print-size guide. Want it branded? See adding a logo.

Yes — free, no sign-up and no watermark, and the code never expires.
